- Description
- The Federal Election Commission intends to award a contract with McIntosh Election Services to design the development of guidelines for managing voting systems. After an extensive market survey, McIntosh Election Services was identified as the only known source with the established expertise in this particular field of study and that is capable of completing this work without significant delay and cost to the program. The anticipated period of performance of the contract will be nine months from the date of contract award. The solicitation will be issued under Request For Proposals (RFP) Number FE-2-AR-0007. This synopsis is a notice of the Government's intent of awarding a contract using other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open the subject requirement to full and open competition is made IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.106(b) and is solely at the discretion of the Government. These services are being procured using the procedures specified in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.
