- While Abstracts and Proposals for BAA 02-21 will be accepted as late as the due dates listed in the BAA, early submittals are encouraged in order to increase the likelihood of proposal funding. Opportunities for selection are reduced as fiscal year ceilings are reached. Abstracts and Proposals for BAA 02-21 must clearly indicate in Part B of the BAA Confirmation Sheet which of the eight (8) areas of interest are addressed in the submittal: 1) Computational Perception, 2) Representation and Reasoning, 3) Learning, 4) Communications and Interaction Technology, 5) Cognitive Architectures and Integrated Cognitive Agents, 6) Robust Software and Hardware, 7) Cognitive Teams and/or 8) Underlying Foundations. The proposer must designate only one PRIMARY area of focus. Please note that selecting more than 3 areas of interest will delay the processing of the proposer's submission. Abstracts and Proposals claiming to respond to more than one area must designate the section(s) within the submission that addresses each focus area.
