- The AFC2ISRC will host and ESC will sponsor a Command & Control Industry Day in the Williamsburg Room of the Officers Club, Langley AFB, VA, on Wednesday, 10 July 2002 from 9AM to 11:30AM. This event will initiate the Mission Solutions Analysis phase in the development of the AF C2 Mission Area Plan with a Concept Call to Industry and Government agencies. Briefings from representatives of USAF MAJCOMs, AFC2ISRC, and ESC will address how the AF C2 Needs were developed from capabilities associated with the AF Task Force structure, AF CONOPS 2020, and the C2ISR Summit. A vision of how the integration of the Air and Space C2ISR Enterprise is planned to proceed during the Transformation of the AF will be presented. The evolving interconnection of the C2 Mission Area Plan with Spiral Development Integrated Product Teams and the development of the POM will be shown. Material and non-material solution concepts to address the C2 Needs are being solicited. The procedures, schedule, and POCs for submission of concepts will be explained. A conference fee of $5.00/attendee will be collected to cover the costs associated with conducting the event. Seating may be limited; so organizations are requested to restrict their representation to two persons.
