Description

The Department of Defense (DoD) offers military personnel a variety of off-duty educational opportunities through its voluntary education (VOLED) programs. The Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) is one of the DoD organizations supporting the VOLED programs. As part of its distance learning programs, DANTES provides the military services with current information about individual courses and external degrees available from civilian education institutions. To furnish this information, DANTES publishes and annually updates three catalogs: The DANTES Independent Study Catalog (DISC), the DANTES External Degree Catalog (DEDC), and the DANTES Catalog of Nationally Accredited Distance Learning Programs(NADLP). This requirement is for the preparation services and continued development of the catalogs for the above cited programs. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-APR-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 24-JUN-2002.
