U.S. AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CENTRAL ASIAN REPUBLICS Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan & Uzbekistan Date issued: June 25, 2002 Closing Date: July 09, 2002 Closing Time: 10:00 AM (Almaty Time) Subject: Request for Applications (RFA) Number PS122-02-008 Draft Version Basic Education Sector Strengthening in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Dear Sir/Madam: The United States Government, represented by the United States Agency for International Development Regional Mission to Central Asia (USAID/CAR), is publishing the subject RFA as a DRAFT, in order to obtain comments/input from all public and private interested parties. Your comments /input for the RFA may be taken into consideration for the preparation of the final RFA. Interested parties are encouraged to submit written comments may be sent directly to the Agreement Officer at jflord@usaid.gov or to Mr. Altay Toxanbayev, Acquisition Specialist, at atoxanbayev@usaid.gov by the closing date. All comments will be taken into consideration for the preparation of the final RFA. USAID/CAR is not requesting applications at this time only written comments to e-mail: jflord@usaid.gov or atoxanbayev@usaid.gov by closing date. Any application that is received in response to this DRAFT RFA will be discarded prior to issuance of the RFA. USAID/CAR reserves the right not to incorporate any and all comments into the final RFP, or even issue a final RFP. Thank you for your consideration of this USAID initiative.
