- Solicitation Number SP0450-02-R-4068, ARG02009054601,Multiple NSN's to include: NSN 6810-00-249-9354, Sulfuric Acid, Electrolyte. D.O.T. Class: 8 Shipping Name: Battery Fluid, Acid UN2796 Closures with Metallic Parts are prohibited. Unit Quantity is 1 Gallon Bottle. Shelf Life applies: 60 Mos for all NSNs. Product Labeling shall require Lot/Batch Number, NSN Contract Number, Date of Manufacture, Batch Size in Addition to all markings required by the FED SPEC and/or this Solicitation. Qap 010 Solicitation is Unrestricted. NSN 6810-00-823-8007:Unit Drum is 5 Gallons NET. All other remains the same. NSN 6810-00-551-5237. Specification requirements for Class 1 is 93.2% Minimum Acid Content, % by Weight. Shipping Name: Sulfuric Acid UN1830. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract for (1) year with an Option to extend the terms of the contract for Four(4)years. Unit Drum contains 6 Gallon Net. Due to the Corrosive nature of this Material, closures having metallic components are prohibited. Line Items 1, 2, 4, 6 & 7 ARO is 30 days, Line Items 3,5 & 8 ARO is 13 days. Solicitation is Unrestricted and Automated Best Value System. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the Solicitation. The Solicitation will open on July 10, 2002 with a closing date of July 31, 2002.
