- Description
- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) intends to issue a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain the necessary qualified personnel, materials, facilities, equipment and services to perform data collection, statistical analysis and evaluation research for traffic safety programs. Typical tasks may include: (1) literature reviews, (2) research design, (3) data collection, (4) conducting focus groups, (5) program development and evaluation, (6) statistical analysis and (7) report preparation. The Government contemplates awarding one or more Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity task order type contract(s) for a base period of three years and two one year options. NAICS Code for this contract is 541720. Examples of studies conducted by the Research and Evaluation Division can be found at: http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/people/injury/research/index.html. Electronic copies of the RFP and any other documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site or URL for the FedBizOpps page is www.FedBizOpps.gov or the GSA Electronic Posting Service (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet sites for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Requests for paper copies of the RFP will not be accepted. Estimated date for release of solicitation is on or about July 12, 2002.
