- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1. Solicitation No. 2098-EE01 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses effective through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) #2001-07. This requirement is unrestricted. Items required: This synopsis /solicitation is issued for CLIN 1; Sight Master, Part Number is S331C for a total of 02 each. CLIN 2; Transit case-site master, Part Number is 760-215A for a total of 02 each. CLIN 3; Network Analyzer, National Stock Number is 6625-01-461-5340, Part Number is S818-A, characteristics include tests RF transmission lines and antennas, 3.3 GHZ to 18 GHZ, synthesizer accurate to 75 PPM, internal memory saves up to 70 traces, hand-held, windows compatible software program provided, direct printing and remote operation via RS-232 serial port for a total of 02 each. CLIN 4; Connector to lampbase adapter, National Stock Number is 5935-01-458-3635, Part Number is 22N50 for a total of 02 each. CLIN 5; National Stock Number is 5985-01-112-9296, Part Number is 28N50-2 for a total of 02 each. CLIN 6; N Flange, Part Number is 35UA90N for a total of 02 each. CLIN 7; 1/8 offset short 12.4 GHZ conn. Part Number 23UA90 for a total of 02 each. CLIN 8; 3/8 offset short 12.4 GHZ conn. Part Number 24UA90for a total of 02 each. CLIN 9; Precision Load, Part Number is 26UA90 for a total of 02 each. CLIN 10; Phase stable cable, Part Number is 15NN50-1.5C for a total of 02 each. CLIN 11; Transit case, Part Number is 760-213 for a total of 02 each. The required delivery date is 22 Jul 2002. FOB destination. Final acceptance shall be at destination. Items shipped to: USCG Aircraft Repair & Supply Center, Attn: EISD, Building 78, Elizabeth City, NC 27909. Only factory new material is acceptable to satisfy this requirement. Acceptance shall be performed at destination by USCG EISD Personnel for count and condition only. Copies of packing slips shall be affixed to the outside of the shipping container. Packaging of the items for return shipment shall be in accordance with the Contractor?s best commercial practices with the following exceptions: Each item or unit must be individually packed in a separate box, carton, or crate. Each individual container shall be labeled on the outside with National Stock Number, Part Number, Serial Number, Quantity, Nomenclature, Purchase Number, and Line item. Only Bar Coding of the NSN is necessary. The internal packaging material shall be sufficient to prevent damage during shipment, handling, and storage. Each unit shall be packaged to protect against electrostatic damage. Preservation protection must be sufficient to prevent corrosion, deterioration or decay during warehouse storage for a period of one year, but no preservation coating will be applied directly to the component. Packaging material shall not consist of the following material: popcorn, shredded paper, styrofoam of any type, or peanut style packaging.
