Description

NA The Defense Contracting Command ? Washington (DCC-W), on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Personnel and Readiness), requires a contractor to collect and furnish housing cost data for approximately 350 locations in the United States, includ ing Alaska and Hawaii. The contractor must also assemble a database consisting of rental expenses, utilities and rental insurance. This database will be for specific types of rental units (e.g. 2 bedroom apartments) in zip codes that will be provided by the government. Housing expense data must reflect current housing cost data and be verifiable. The contractor must have demonstrated prior experience in the collection and assembly of housing cost data on a similar scale and have an established record of providing accurate housing expense data. The contractor shall furnish all materials required fo r this project. The proposed period of performance shall be for a base year of 12 months and four one-year options. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 31 July 2002.
