Description
NA The US Army Communications-Electronics Command proposes to solicit and negotiate on a Sole Source basis with Rockwell-Collins, Cedar Rapids, IA for support of the Multifunctional On-The-Move Secure Adaptive Integrated Communications (MOSAIC) Advanced Tech nology Demonstration (ATD) program. This will be a Time and Materials effort to support porting of the Ad Hoc Mobility Protocol Suite (AMPS) being developed by Telcordia Technologies under contract DAAB07-01-C-L534. The will move AMPS software from the L inux 2.4.7 Operating System to the Lynx 3.1.1 Operating System and the JTRS Software Communications Architecture (SCA) to enable it to reside in Rockwell Collins' JTRS SCA 2.0 compliant radio platform, the Wireless JTRS Radio (WJR). Specific actions that Rockwell Collins will perform include but are not limited to: 1) Provide Telcordia with a Lynx 3.1.1 kernel and external stack operating environment that meets the requirements for the AMPS Software; 2)Provide technical expertise to Telcordia on porting t o Lynx 3.1.1 and the SCA operating environment; 3) Support porting of the AMPS software in the Lynx 3.1.1/external stack environment at Telcordia's facility; and 4) Develop the required architectural guidance with appropriate WJR interfaces and software so that AMPS can be controlled and used within the WJR.
