Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to extend the term of the Department of Treasury Telecommunications System (DOTTS) Contract No: TIRNO-92-D-00020 to Pacific Bell for 103 days. The contract expires June 18, 2002. The extended contract services will be for Centrex Service, maintenance and related Centrex services only. All other requirements under the contract will expire June 18. Pacific Bell will continue to provide Centrex telephone service for up to 5000 lines to 16 sites in California and Nevada. The IRS does not anticipate an award of a new contract before this contract expires. The extension would provide continued telecommunication services to the IRS until award is made. The extension will terminate once the new contract is awarded. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-APR-2002).
