Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport has a requirement for engineering and technical services in support of the following areas: a) ship checks; b) preparation of SHIPALT and TEMPALT drawing packages; c) design, fabrication and development of prototypes, test hardware, software, and firmware; d) performance of equipment installations and removals; e) engineering and technical support for laboratory, dockside, and at-sea tests; f) logistic support including the development of instructional materials and preparation and distribution of technical memoranda and reports; g) maintenance, trouble-shooting, and repair; h) preparation of field change kits; i) installation of field changes; j) Storage and maintenance of inventories of systems and equipment and expendable consumable material; and k) maintenance of scheduling and configuration data as required. The systems and equipment involve existing and new programs and products related to antennas, navigation systems, communications, electronic surveillance measures, electromagnetic compatibility, both passive and active SONAR systems and encompasses electrical, electronic, mechanical, fire control, weapons, propulsion, power distribution systems, and their associated input/output subsystems and electro-mechanical devices. Type of Contract: IDIQ with CPFF Provisions. Level of effort/Period of Performance: 442,400 manhours during a 5-year period. Evaluation Criteria: Best Value: Personnel and Past Performance.
