Description: The intent of this contract is to secure services for thinning of residual stands of conifers and hardwoods, mastication of slash, vegetative debris and brush for fuels reduction purposes. Project consists of 302 acres located on the Tahoe National Forest, Nevada City Ranger District. Estimated solicitation issue date is July 15, 2002. Start work date August 19, 2002, contract time 170 days.
