Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services issued by the Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number F25600-02-T-0084 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07. All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Government intends to issue a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL purchase order for the following commercial items: 1. EPU-5/U 400 Hz Converter to include the following specifications: Rating: 100kW / 125kVA Design: 6-Pulse Rectification Input: 480vAC, 3pH, 3W 60Hz Output: 208Y/120vAC, 3pH, 4W 400Hz Enclosure: NEMA-3R/4 Included: Input Breaker Output Contactor Alarm & Fault LED indicator lights Diagnostics Code for troubleshooting 28vDC interlock circuit c/w by-pass Forklift lifting tubes, and tie downs Elapsed time meter 2. Training and Start-Up 3. O&M Manuals 4. Freight: FOB Destination *******CONTRACTOR MUST PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS THAT WILL ALLOW THE GOVERNMENT TO DETERMINE IF ?OR EQUAL? MEETS THE GOVERNMENT SPECIFICATIONS******* NAICS Code is 335312; this solicitation is issued as 100 percent small business set-aside. The SBA Size Standard is 1,000 employees. Complete written quotations must be physically received by the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB by July 11, 2002 at 4:00 pm CST. The following provisions/clauses applies to this solicitation; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Evaluation will be based on best value including cost and ability to meet requirements.
