- Description
- The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, transportation, supervision and other services necessary to repair/alter fire protection system, basewide, for Project Number BXUR 01-1014, Bolling AFB, DC. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement on terms of physical characteristics and estimated range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334290 with the size standard being 750 employees. The period of performance for this requirement is 365 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. This is a competitive best-value solicitation in which competing offerors? past and present performance history and technical is more important than price. This procurement is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED 8(a) CONTRACTORS. This solicitation will be distributed on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 12 July 2002: http://www.eps.gov. Closing date of this solicitation will be 12 August 2002. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED ONLY UPON REQUEST. Prospective offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced web site. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizzOpps web site frequently and obtain any amendments or other information pertinent to this RFP. Also, each prospective offeror interested in submitting a proposal on this RFP must register by e-mail to: charles.bishop@bolling.af.mil in order to be placed on the source list and receive the project drawings which will be mailed to all registered offerors.
