Description
NA A-E Contract to be performed at the Oregon Air National Guard Reserve Base in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Completion of services will include the following: Preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the replacement of the Base Cantonment Ar ea Fence. The new chain link fence will be approximately 15,000 lineal feet. Type of services available for contract are ?A?, ?B? and ?C?. The Project will include the following: Survey of proposed routing, demolition of existing fence, construction of a new fence, installation of security lighting, installation of security surveillance cameras, construction of entrance gates and repair or construction areas. All phases of design services including planning, technical studies, construction management, sp ecification writing, cost estimating, CAD drawing production and transmission, will be required for all engineering disciplines. These engineering disciplines will include: civil, structural and electrical. Applicants must have on staff, or demonstrate a lliance with the above mentioned disciplines in the response to this advertisement. Evaluation criteria, in descending order of importance are: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services. (2) Specialized exp erience and technical competence in the type of work required including where appropriate, experience in energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction and the use of recovered materials. (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time . (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules. (5) Location in general geographical area of the projects and knowledge of the locality o f the projects, provided that application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms given the nature and size of the projects. (6) Volume of work awarded by the Department of Defense (DOD) during the last twelve (12) months. Final selection procedure may include personal or telephone interview. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. Qualified firms desiring consideration shall submit two copies of their SF 254 (copies must be less than one year old) and two copies of their S F 255.
