Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are bei ng requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The SIC is 7011. This solicitation serves as the Request for Quotation for lodging in the Fort Lewis Washington area as follows: Item 1: 11 Rooms from 7/22/02 through 10/11/02; Item 2: 8 rooms fro m 8/19/02 through 10/11/02. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Award will be based on best value to the Government, which includes room rate, extended stay facilities such as in room refrigerators, kitchenette with utensils/cookware, TV and microwaves, reasonable commuting distance to and from Fort Lewis. The Government reserves the right to shift lodging dates and/or cancel completely 5 days prior to 22 July 02. Payment shall be based on occupancy only. Offerors need to include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with this offer (Registered in Central Contractor Registration, DUNS number, Cage Code, and TAX ID number). The statement at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offers are due COB 7/12/02.
