Description

The Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, WV, is seeking a qualified individual capable of providing Cosmetology VT instruction to the female inmate population. The contractor will be required to have a Master Teacher licnese in the state of West Virginia. The contractor will provide a training program of professionally accepted teaching methodologies in cosmetology skills which will consist of 20% classroom training and 80% live work. the contractor will also be required to maintain inventories and complete necessary required paperwork on inmates participating in the program. There will be an estimated 156 (7.5 hour) sessions. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Non-Personal Services Requirements contract to the responsible offeror, meeting the requirements of the Statement of Work, from date of award through September 30, 2003. This solicitation will be available on or after July 16, 2002, and will be distributed solely thrugh the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site @http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely throught this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this aquisition. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer which will be considered for award. The estimated date for receipt of offers is August 15, 2002.
