Description

The Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, WV is seeking a qualified organization capable of providing the services of a Licensed Orthopedist. The services provided, being professional in nature, shall be provided in the method as considered normal by community standards. The contractor will be required to conduct in-house evaluations and provide treatment recommendations on the female inmates to the Clinical Director at FPC Alderson. The contractor will provide an estimated 1, (5) five hour session per month. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Non-Personal Services Health Care Requirements contract to the responsible offeror, meeting the requirements of the Statement of Work The contract will run from date of award through September 30, 2003, with the Government's unilateral right to exercise (4) four option years. This solicitation will be available on or after July 16, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site @http://ww.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed soley through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer which will be considered for award. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated date for receipt of offers is August 15, 2002.
