- Description
- Project generally consists of but is not limited to the following: Phase 1: Installation of Back-up HVAC Systems 1. Provide and install fan coil units 2.Provide and install condensing units and concrete equipment pads, provide layout of condenser equipment pads 3.Provide and install refrigerant lines, seal around penetrations through the building walls, insulate refrigerant and condensate piping. 4.Provide and install condensate piping to the floor drains 5.Provide and install protective shield over the refrigerant piping between the condensing units and the building 6.Provide and install outside supply air ducts and liner 7.Provide and install outside supply air control dampers 8. Provide and install supply air ductwork from each fan coil unit 9.Provide and install back-draft dampers as required 10.Provide and install air balancing damper 11.Provide and install insulation on piping anfd ductwork 12. Provide and install ddc controls and thermostats for each fan coil un! it 13. Provide and install pipe & equipment supports, vibration isolation, seismic bracing & miscellaneous ancillary items 14.Provide one Biozone Scientific, model 3000W air purifiers to located in the Cab and one Biozone Scientific model 3000B air purifiers to be located in the Tracon Room 15. Start-up and test and prove the operation of the back-up HVAC systems 16.Provide start-up service and trainging as descrived in the contract specs 17.Provide guarantees as described in the contract specs 18.Relocate existing equipment as required to maintain manufactures recommended clearances, NEC clear space and egress clearances 19.Patch and repair all walls finishes and doors as required by removal or installation of new or existing equipment 20.Provide and install electrical power panel 1ELDT and feeder and circuits 21. Provide and isntall electrical power panel 3ELAT and feeder and circuits 22.Provide and install misc. branch circuits to new/relocated equipment Phase 2: Demoliti! on and construction can begin after the Back-up HVAC systems have been started-up, tested and approved Demolition: 1.Abate and dispose of asbestos pipe jacket, insulation and piping on hot water and chilled water piping systems 2. Remove and dispose of boiler and controls 3.Remove and dispose of hydronic hot water and chilled water piping systems 4.Remove and dispose air handling units 5. Remove and dispose filter mixing box and dampers 6.Remove and dispose all Johnson Controls Panels, pneumatic control, pneumatic piping, thermostats and humidistats 7. Remove air compressor, motor starter, filter, refrigeration unit Construction: 1. Provide and install new boiler and controls 2.Provide and install new hydronic hot water and chilled water piping systems 3. The contractor shall provide portabel exhaust fans to exhaust fumes outside the building during soldering, brazing and welding 4.Re-install hot water circulating pump and controls 5. Provide and istall new chilled water cir! culating pump and controls 6.Provide and install new Glycol Make-up Package 7.Provide and install new access doors in the outside air intake for each air handling unit 8. Inspect and clean air intake screen for each air handling unit inside the building 9.Provide and install new air handling units 10.Provide and install new filter mixing box and dampers for each air handling unit 11.Provide and install new DDC control panels,sensors,thermostats, humidistats, flow switches, and misc controls for the boiler, pumps and for all air handling units 12.Provide and install new humidifiers, humidistats, high-limit humidistats, air flow switches, controls, steam piping, steam distribution units and soft water humidistats, air flow switches, controls, steam piping, steam distribution units and solft water supply piping 13.Provide and install Culligan Silver Water Softener w/triple hull steel resin tank, provide start-up service by Culligan after installation & inital salt fill, provide! and install any back flow preventer required 14.Provide and install soft water supply piping system 15. Provide and install pipe & equipment supports, vibration isolation, seismic bracing and misc ancillary items 16.Provide and install insulation on piping and ductwork 17. Provide testing and balancing of air distribution, heating and cooling systems 18.Provide startup service and training as described in specs 19.Provide guarantees as described in the contract specs 20. Relocate existing equipment as required to maintain manufactures recommended clearances, NEC clear space and egress clearances 21. Patch and repair all walls, finishes and doors as required by removal or installation of new or existing equipment 22. Provide and install misc branch circuits to new and relocated equipment Price range will be $250,000 to $700,000 COST OF PLANS: $100.00 per set.
