- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. IMPORTANT NOTICE: FAR 52.232-33 (Payment by) Electronic Funds Transfer (--Central Contractor Registration) requires registration in the CCR database. CONTRACTORS MAY REGISTER ON-LINE AT HTTP://CCR.EDI.DISA.MIL. IT?S MANDATORY TO OBTAIN A DUNS NUMBER PRIOR TO REGISTERING. CALL DUN & BRADSTREET (1-800-333-0505) TO OBTAIN. AWARD CANNOT BE MADE UNLESS REGISTERED. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. F300TT21700100 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) of 7389, business size of 5.0 employees, and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 51229. Requirement is for Upgrade of the Video Presentations aspects for the conference room (replacing current equipment) while maintaining the current 5 speaker Surround Sound system as shown on drawings specified in the engineering review, Phase 1. The Air Force wishes to incorporate the latest advances in projector technology and concurrently make the conference room operation simplistic and reliable. This will include supplementary or miscellaneous items, appurtenances and devices incidental to or necessary for the complete system. Due to security requirements, no Radio Frequency (RF) radiating components will be used. All wireless transmission will be Infrared (IR). A copy of the engineering study, will be E-MAILED by request. Requests should be submitted to maria.lynch@patrick.af.mil. These products are for the Air Force Technical Application Center (AFTAC) with delivery to Patrick AFB FL. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors?Commercial Items, The following are addenda to FAR clause 52.212-1: At paragraph, (c) Period of Acceptance for Offers, the amount of time an offeror must hold its prices firm is hereby changed. An offeror must hold the prices in its proposal, firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of quotes. Paragraph (e) multiple offers has been determined by the Contracting Officer to be non-acceptable to this solicitation and is hereby removed in its entirety for the purpose of the requirement. Offerors are advised that quotes may be evaluated without discussions. Award might be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is responsive to the terms of the RFQ and is most advantageous to the government.
