Description

Military Family Housing-Construct Sewer Lift Station. F38610-02-R-0017, project number DKFX 01-4035 Pre-Solicitation Notice Title: SANITARY SEWER LIFT STATION The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, plant, labor and supervision to construct a Sanitary Sewer Lift Station at Charleston AFB, SC for project DKFX 01-4035. Work will include, but is not limited to: Construct sewer lift station and force main, new sanitary sewer lines and service laterals, abandon existing sanitary sewer lines, commercial power feed, backup power and automatic transfer. Construction stakeout and field engineering, demolition and removal, excavation, filling and grading, trenching and backfilling, asphalt concrete paving, concrete sidewalk, curbs and gutters, exterior sanitary sewer system and grassing.Performance Time 240 Days. NAICS Code 244910, DO 20, Size Standard 28.5 Dollar magniture $5,000,000-$10,000,000. This project is unrestricted but may be considered for 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Interested HUBZone small business concerns should indicate interest to the Contracting Officer, in writing, as early as possible but not later than 10 calendar days after issuance of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: (a) a copy of the certificate issued by SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of recent experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, date of performance, and points of contacts with telephone numbers (and email addresses if known); (d) evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project to include both single and aggregate totals. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. The applicable NAICS code is 244910, size standard 28.5. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is considered more important than price. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 12 July 2002 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov. Papers copies will not be available. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
