Description
NA Mobile Ammunition Surveillance Inspection Workshop, Purchase Description PD APE1965M1, drawing number PD 19650000M1, ISO1161, ISO1496/2 and ISO830. The Workshop will be a noncollapsible permanent structure suitable for repeated use. The fabrication of the Workshop may be accomplished by combining/integrating steel and aluminum. The exterior dimensions including environmental systems and connectors, but not including generator shall not exceed 114? wide by 123? high by 26?0? long. The interior dimensions s hall be no less than 102? wide by 88? high by 25?0? long. This unit will be used for the year round surveillance inspection of stored ammunition. The Workshop will be capable of being mounted on either a railway flatcar for rail transport or a semi trail er flatbed for road transport. A generator, separate from the Workshop but carried on the same vehicles, shall provide complete electrical power for the Workshop. Inside the heated and air conditioned Workshop, both side walls will be lined with laborato ry equipment including cabinet, counter, shelving, gravity roller conveyors, a directly heated melting tank, and a desk. Other inspection items and equipment will be stored and brought out as needed. A door with panic hardware will be located at each end of the Workshop to facilitate rapid evacuation. The interior of the Workshop is a National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) class 1, Division 2, Groups C and D and Class II, Division 2, Groups E, F, and G hazardous location. Emergency lightin g will be available inside the workshop and on the outside at each end to permit personnel to vacate in the event of power loss. Quantity is 1 each. Delivery shall be FOB Destination, McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, Oklahoma. Delivery shall be due within 210 days from date of the award. The approximate issue date is July 8th with a closing date 30 days from issue. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issue and any subsequent changes to the solicitation. Hard copies of the solici tation will not be distributed. Copies of the military specifications may be obtained from the ASSIST website at http://assist.daps.mil. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification is 33 2439, 500 employees. See notes 1, 9 and 12.
