- Description
- The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to remove storm damaged, dead, and hazardous trees within and along the park mow lines along approximately 25 miles of the Natchez Trace Parkway. The project is located between milepost 300 and milepost 325 in Tishomingo County, Mississippi and Colbert County, Alabama. All material cut under the contract, including logs, firewood, and merchantable pulpwood, shall become the property of the contractor. The contractor will be responsible for cutting all required vegetation, removing salvageable materials from the parkway, and disposing of all tree limbs by chipping in place or by hauling off the parkway to an approved location. Stump removal is not included in this contract.
