Description
THIS MODIFICATION IS TO REVISE THE SPACE REQUIREMENT AND AREA OF CONSIDERATION, AND TO PROVIDE A NEW RESPONSE DATE. The General Services Administration (GSA) is interested in leasing approximately 17,500 rentable square feet of office space contiguous on a single floor, within the area of San Jose, CA described below. The rentable space must yield a minimum of 14,831 BOMA usable square feet to a maximum of 15,573 BOMA usable square feet, for use by the Social Security Administration. Occupancy is desired as soon as possible, but proposals for new construction will be considered. The lease term will be for 15 years, 10 years firm. Area of consideration: City of San Jose, CA within the following delineated area: North--Story Road; South--Aborn Road; East--White Road; West--Capitol Expressway/Capitol Avenue. First class office space in a quality building which meets or is capable of meeting the Government's requirements, including seismic safety and handicapped access, is solicited. The Government requires a fully serviced lease. The building must conform to the seismic requirements for new construction of the current edition of the Uniform Building Code (UBC) or the 1976 Edition if the lateral load resisting system is of concrete or masonry construction. Expressions of interest should include all of the following: 1) Building name and address; 2) Rentable square feet and rate per rentable square foot; 3) Method of measurement used to determine rentable square footage; and 4)Common Area Factor(s) for available space by floor if applicable. Proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building's ownership.
