Description
The FAA has a requirement for an Airport Surveillance Radar Tower Raising (ASR-9) Syracuse Int'l. Arpt. Phase one (1) forty-five (45) calendar days. This includes the dismanting and transporting the steel five 10 foot sections from Westchester County Airport, White Plains, NY and leaving it disassembled near the existing radar building in Syracuse, NY. Complete all foundation/underground work at Hancock Int'l. Airport, Syracuse, NY. Phase Two (2) forty-five calendar days. Includes the erection of the 50 foot steel tower on the new foundations. Dismantling the ASR-9 antenna and the existing 17 foot tower. Installing the 17 foot tower on top of the 50 foot tower, installing the ASR-9 antenna waveguide supports and associated electrical work. Demolish and dispose of the old existing footings. Construct the misscellaneous footings for the waveguide supports. Regrade the site. Estimated cost is between $250,000.00 and $350,000.00.
