Description
United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Mid West Area has a project entitled Upgrade of HVAC Control System from Penumatic to DDC for National Soil Erosion Laboratory. The project is located at the USDA, ARS, National Soil Erosion Laboratory, West Lafayette, Indiana. This work includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other necessary work to perform and complete the following: Base Bid includes the replacement of controllers and sensors for one existing air handing unit, replacement of 32 room thermostats, associated variable air volume box controllers and control valves installation and programming of new DDC system will be required. Period of performance is 120 days. Option I includes required replacement of six additional room thermostats, two sensors and associated controllers and control valves. Interface with DDC system, programming and calibration. The period of performance for Option I is 14 days. Option II includes interface of primary heating water. Work includes interface with water boiler controls and replacement of control valves, pump controllers, and sensors. Programming and calibration of DDC system will be required. The period of performance for Option II is 28 days, and Option III to include interface of primary cooling water. Work includes interface with water chiller controls and replacement of control valves, pump controllers, and sensors. Programming and calibration of DDC system will be required. Period of performance for Option III is 28 days. Estimated price range for Base Bid and All Options are: Between 100,000 and 250,000. All work shall be performed in accordance the specifications and drawings. A bid bond, as well as performance and payment bonds shall be required.
