Description

Request for Proposals number VI-02-02 for continued recruitment of females for the federal Job Corps program will be made available on July 15, 2002, by written request to U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Job Corps, 71 Stevenson Street, San Francisco, California 94105-2999, or on the acquisition home page: http://www.wdsc.org/jobcorps. Job Corps is a residential training program for economically disadvantaged youth, between the ages of 16 and 24. The successful offeror will manage and operate a system of recruitment staff who perform outreach and admissions functions for eligible females in certain geographical areas in California. The contract will be for the recruitment of approximately 3121 females per year. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a cost plus fixed-fee contract for a two base-year period from April 1, 2003 to March 31, 2005, plus three options of one year each. A Pre-Proposal Conference will convene at the Job Corps Regional Office in San Francisco on July 30, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. The proposal will consist of a written submission in accordance with Section L of the RFP. It is recommended that interested parties download the RFP prior to attending the Pre-Proposal Conference. All questions related to the procurement shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer after the Pre-Proposal Conference. Proposals are due no later than August 29, 2002, 5:00 p.m. local time and will be received at: U.S. Department of Labor E.T.A., Office of the Job Corps 71 Stevenson Street, Suite 1015 San Francisco, CA 94105-2999 Attn: Jacqueline G.
