Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 55th Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, Nebraska. This document was prepared in accordance with the format found in the Federal Acquisition Regulations Document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This electronic announcement is the only solicitation being issued. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F25600-02-T-0096 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07. This procurement is set aside for 100% small business. The SIC Code is 5082, NAICS Code 421810 with a size standard of 100 employees. Closing date: 17 July 2002. The government intends to issue a purchase order for the following equipment: - GENIE SCISSOR LIFT, MODEL # GS-3246 (OR EQUAL). MUST INCLUDE: MINIMUM PLATFORM FLOOR HEIGHT OF 32 FEET, EE RATING (EXPLOSION PROOF), MOTION ALARM, AND DUAL FLASHING BEACON. STANDARD FEATURES INCLUDE: NON MARING TIRES, POT HOLE PROTECTION, BRAKE RELEASE, LOW VOLT INDICATE, LOW VOLT PROTECTION, 3? EXTENSION DUAL WHEEL BRAKE, JOYSTICK CONTROL, ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS, AC TO PLATFORM, TILT ALARM, DESCENT ALARM, LANYARD ATTACHMENT, ELECTRONIC HORN AND HOUR METER. Delivery time 30 days ARO. PARTIAL QUOTES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Complete written quotations INCLUDING COMPLETED REPS AND CERTS must be physically received by 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB by 4:00 pm CST on 17 July 2002 via US Mail, facsimile or e-mail.
