Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and is in accordance with FAR 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only occasion for solicitation. Proposals are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F05604-02-T-0029, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 336212 and the business size maximum is 500 employees. The proposed contract will be set aside for a small business concern. Item Description: Fire Safety Trailer which will simulate the activities of smoke inside a house. The trailer shall contain the following options: Severe Weather Training Package, Honda Model 4500EX Generator or equal, Enclosed generator compartment, Front awning, air conditioning, Wireless remote for standard smoke machine, fluid for smoke machine, spare wheel and tire, roof strobe, small dorm size refrigerator (110 volt), wheel chair ramp, thermometer at each door, hearing impaired smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and a rubber roof.
