- NA SOLICITATION NO. DAAB07-02-R-H807 REPLACES NO. DAAB07-02-R-H803. The United States Army Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS) has a requirement for commercial depot level support of the Avaya DEFINITY family of telephone switch systems installed, or to be installed, within Department of Defen se (DOD) worldwide. The systems to be supported include the switches and switch peripherals and user equipment, other manufacturers proprietary hardware, software, and peripherals and system components such as Telephone Management Systems (TMS), Automated Directory Attendant System (ADAS), Integrated Service Digital Network (ISDN) applications, and any support services beyond the capability of switch system site personnel. Requirements may differ between sites/regions in the Continental United States (CONU S) and sites in a region/theater Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) (i.e. Kwajalein, Virgin Islands, etc.). The solicitation will be a Request for Proposals (RFP) No. DAAB07-02-R-H807, which will be issued on or about 5 August 2002. The government anticipates awarding a total Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five year period of performance. This will be a single award under full and open competition utilizing FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The United States Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) to provide electronic transmittal of RFP and IFB from the Government to Industry. All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are encouraged to register as a user well in advance of the anticipated RFP issuance and to check the IBOP frequently for updates. To become a user of the IBOP you will need a User Identification and Pas sword in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the IBOP system. Offerors MUST REGISTER with the IBOP prior to submitting a proposal. Fill out the on-line form and click on 'Submit Request.' Proposals shall be delivered in electronic format by posting on the IBOP as well as in hardcopy paper format with an attached CD at the time and place specified in the solicitation. Paper copy of the proposal shall be considered the official copy and shal l match the content of the electronic copy.
