Description
NA Z?River Fringe Wetland Creation, Anacostia River, Washington, DC. This proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS23499/SIC Code 1629, size standard $27,500,000.00 This proposed procurement is Unrestricted. The SIC Code is 16292/NAIC S 234990. Estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Completion no later than 140 calendar days. The work consists of dredging a portion of the Anacostia River to provide material to create wetlands along identified fring e areas of the river. The material will be held in place by sheet piling that will be installed by the contractor.. After 2-3 years the sheet piling will be removed. Issue o/a 29 Jul 02; opening o/a 29 Aug 02. The solicitation will be provided in an ele ctronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be on the web site Contractors? requests for solicitations and quotations will be performed through Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI). Contractors may register to be placed on the bidders/offerors mailing lists by going to the web site: https://ebs.nab.usace.army.mil. Contractors may view, print and download soli citation information, including the Bidders Mailing List from this Internet site. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. For information regarding, the CCR web site can be accessed at http://www.ccr2000.com. Other information regarding registration can be obtained t hrough CCR Assistance Center (CCRAC) at 1-888-227-2423. Additionally a paper form for registration may be obtained from the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414. It is imperative that all small disadvantaged businesses contact the ir cognizant Small Business Administration Office to obtain Small Disadvantaged Business Certification. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/subcontracto rs.
