Description

NA Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in connection with the installation of an air conditioning system in the existing heating and ventilation system of building P-10715, Fort Drum, NY. Principal features include providing and installing: 21 variable volume control units; 3 air handling unit motors with variable frequency drive control to replace existing motors; 3 water cooling/heating coils in existing air handl ing units; and 2 air-cooled chillers mounted on exterior concrete pads next to building P-10715 in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. This will be a ?Firm Fix ed Price Construction? contract. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for certified HUBZone Concerns under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.13, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZONE) Program. The North Atlantic Industrial Code (NAIC) is 235 110. This procurement is subject to availability of funds and is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about July 16, 2002. The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuanc e/posting on Fort Drum?s Web Page. All responsible HUBZone small business concerns may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidder?s Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire bid package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to bid are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the solicitation. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the bid to be considered as non-responsive and thereby rejected. The bids must be supplied in hard copy form to the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, no electronic bids will be accepted.
