Description
NA TRADOC Acquisition Center intends to convert and re-issue solicitation DABT60-01-R-3041 (Fort Knox, KY., Directorate of Information Management (DOIM)) from a Small Business Set-A-Side to Full and Open Competition. The amended solicitation will be ready fo r issuance on or about Wednesday, July 10, 2002. Services will include but not limited to: Technical Consulting, Problem Resolution, TSACS Service Provider, Network Operating Systems (NOS) and Server Operations, Electronic Messaging, Desktop Computing, C ampus Area Network (CAN), Database Management, Protected DNS, Server Hardware and Software Support, Webmaster, Remote Processing Support, Installation Support, Data/Voice/Video Communications, IT Plant Configuration, ATS Work Documentation, Telephone Servi ce Center, Telecommunication Center (TCC), and other services as necessary to execute the DOIM functions. The acquisition is competed under the A-76 process governed by OMB Circular A-76. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAI CS) Code is 541513 with a size standard of $21.0 million. The successful offeror will compete against the Government Most Efficient Organization (MEO). If a decision is made to contract for the services, a 90-day Phase-In Period (after the Notice to Proc eed) will be made part of the contract. The contract will be a Cost Plus Award Fee for a 12-month Base Period and four (4) 12-month Option Periods. The competitive range may be limited for efficiency purposes in accordance with FAR Part 15.3. Oral prese ntations will be required of all offerors. The solicitation and all amendments will be issued via the TRADOC Acquisition Center (TAC) Web Page (www.tac.eustis.army.mil) under the heading of Solicitations/Fort Knox ? NO PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION OR ANY AMENDMENTS WILL BE PRINTED, MAILED OR PROVIDED. Announcement of amendments will not be made; vendors are cautioned to periodically check the TAC web page for new amendments. The solicitation will be posted with a new closing date. No solicitation ma iling list will be compiled or provided. A Site Visit will be conducted on 19 July 2002. Vendors are encouraged to attend the site visit for networking and subcontracting opportunities. This is the only site visit that will be conducted. Date, time and directions will be contained in Section L of the solicitation.
