- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), San Diego, intends to solicit Industrial Planning Competency for the Naval Air Depot North Island, CA under the OMB Circular A-76 study now in progress. The Draft PWS and PWS Attachments can be found on the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil under draft solicitation N00244-02-R-0043. FISC, San Diego intends to issue a solicitation on or about 8 August 2002. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments resulting from this announcement will be available to interested parties via the NECO web site identified above. It is the responsibility of interested parties to frequently monitor this web site for updates and new listings. Potential Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). No paper copies will be issued. It is anticipated that the contract type will be firm-fixed price with award fee provisions. The contract is anticipated to contain a phase-in-period, a base period and four one-year options. This acquisition will be conducted under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561210, Facilities Support Services Except Base Maintenance which establishes a small business size standard of $23M. The proposed acquisition will be competed on an Unrestricted basis. If Government performance is determined to be more advantageous, the solicitation will be cancelled. The Government will not accept, accumulate or post an electronic bidders list for this requirement. Interested parties are invited to submit "Notices of Subcontracting Opportunities" in accordance with FAR 5.206 or obtain potential bidders information from other commercially available resources. The Government will post a list of site visit attendees by company nam e only, on the NECO web site. The site visit will be conducted on 24 Aug 02, starting at 0800. in the front of building 94, Naval Air Station, North Island, San Diego, CA. The visit will include the primary site where services are to be performed. Reservations Are Required For The Site Visit. Interested Offerors should contact Donna Russell, email RussellDJ@NAVAIR.Navy.Mil, or Anthony Santos, email SantosAM@NAVAIR.Navy.Mil, with Company name, names of individuals who will attend, and e-mail address. Due to space constraints, no more than two Contractor personnel from each company may attend the site visit. Directions to the meeting location(s) will be provided by e-mail. Additional site visit information as well as driving directions will be provided at time of confirmation. Contractors must sign up with the Contractor Centralized registration (CCR) prior to receiving a contract. This CBD Announcement is the Final such announcement posted in regards to this requirement. Previous CBD announcements are hereby cancelled and replaced by this synopsis.
