- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY TO PREQUALIFY VENDORS. THERE IS NOT A SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). The United States Senate Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) is pre-qualifying sources for technical services and support to conduct a physical security assessment of all 436 Senate state offices, and to provide, install, maintain and monitor any equipment needed to ensure that all offices meet minimum security standards. The vendor response to this sources sought notice shall specifically address the five evaluation criteria below. The evaluation criteria for selection, listed in descending order of importance are as follows: (1) Presence in all 50 states of the United States; (2) Experience conducting a security assessment of 400+ offices; (3) Professional capacity, experienced in-house personnel to accomplish this work in a timely manner; (4) Ability and experience in providing, monitoring, and maintaining security equipment to offices in all 50 states; and (5) Past performance on similar contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of (a) the type of work, including the quality control program (b) compliance with assessment, recommendation, and installation schedules. The SAA invites all qualified sources to respond to this sources sought notice. Failure to provide information on criteria (1) through (5) above will result in disqualification of the vendor from further consideration. The pre-qualification/solicitation process will consist an evaluation of all responses to this Notice to select those vendors who are pre-qualified. At the completion of this evaluation, the SAA reserves the right to issue a solicitation to only those vendors who have been pre-qualified. FORMAT INSTRUCTIONS: All sources must respond to this Sources Sought notice by submitting an information package of no more than ten (10) pages, 8.5 inches by 11 inches. DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS: All responses to this sources sought notice must be received no later than July 17, at 1:00 p.m. EST. Responses to this sources sought notice must be submitted via facsimile. No other method of delivery will be accepted. All responses to this sources sought notice must be faxed to facsimile number (202) 228-2051 to the attention of Kathleen M. Haddow, Senior Contracts and Procurement Specialist. NO REQUESTS FOR AN EXTENSION OF THE DATE OR TIME WILL BE GRANTED. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the SAA. The SAA shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages as a result of this Notice. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. ALL INFORMATION TO RESPOND TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE HAS BEEN PROVIDED HEREIN.
