Description

NA CBD DRAFT Maintenance Dredging, Craney Island Rehandling Basin, Norfolk Harbor, Virginia. The work consists of maintenance dredging to the Rehandling Basin at Craney Island Dredged Material Management Area to a depth of 40 feet with 2 feet of allowable overdepth a nd the associated North Access Channel to a depth of 18 feet with 1 foot of allowable overdepth. The dredging shall be performed by hydraulic dredge and pipeline and all material placed in the south containment cell at the government furnished placement si te at Craney Island. Including allowable overdepth and estimated material to be placed in to the Rehandling Basin prior to dredging, the work involves dredging approximately 1,884,000 cubic yards of material. Magnitude of construction is $1,000,000 to $5, 000,000. Duration of the project is 180 calendar days for performance. This is an Unrestricted Procurement. Applicable SIC code is 1629, with a size standard of $17 million. The NAICS code is 23499. The solicitation will be available on the internet o nly. No paper copies or CDs will be issued.
