Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a competitive requirement for the furnishing of all training equipment, training aids, course materials, supplies, instructors, classroom, and other facilities necessary to provide rotorcraft safety and accident investigation training. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 61143. The contract will be for the FY 2003 base year period including four 1-year option periods to be exercised at the option of the government. All interested sources should first attempt to download the solicitation from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for the solicitation must be in writing (FAX number 405-954-3030) or via the Internet at sandra.m.fink@faa.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. Requests should be submitted to the attention of Sandra M. Fink and reference the Solicitation Number DTFA-02-02-R-10985. NOTE: If you have difficulty downloading the Solicitation and/or attachments, you need to be using Internet Explorer 4.0 version or newer or Netscape Navigator 6. Older versions of Netscape Navigator will not open the attachments. The following notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further information and applicable forms concerning the STLP, call the OSDBU at (800) 532-1169.
