Description
Description: Programmable Ergonomic Work Positioner/Lift For C-5 Tire Shop Per Below Description, 1 EA. Please quote FOB Destination Pricing. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation-Commercial Items), 52.212-3 (Offeror representations and certifications-commercial items), 52.212-4 (contract terms and conditions ? commercial items) and 52.212-5 (contract terms and conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders?commercial items). In accordance with clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: price and price related factors and adherence to purchase description. Oral procedures will be used for this solicitation. Quotations may be faxed to (478) 926-3569 or e-mailed to Mandy.Mathews@robins.af.mil. The anticipated award date will be July 23, 2002. PURCHASE DESCRIPTION PROGRAMMABLE ERGONOMIC WORK POSITIONER/LIFT FOR C-5 TIRE SHOP. 1. This is a purchase description for equipment for the C-5 Tire Shop to enable the worker to assemble/disassemble C-5 main landing gear wheel and tire assemblies. It will enable the worker to work in a neutral, ergonomically correct position. 2. Positioner shall have three-axis manipulator, and a fixture/gripper shall attach to the positioner to interface with the main landing gear wheel assemblies. Positioner shall have an extended arm and shall be adjustable for height for operators. Positioner and fixture shall secure and rotate main landing gear wheel assemblies for maximum load of 660 lbs. Positioner shall be easily programmable with storage for 100 individual programs. 3. Two days of on-site training of unit shall be provided by contractor. 4. A warranty shall be provided by the contractor to extend one year from date of delivery.
