- Description
- Military Sealift Command, Atlantic intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract based on BEST VALUE for Regular Overhaul of USNS ZEUS (T-ARC 7). Work will be done in contractor's facility for 100 calendar days, starting on/about 18 November 2002. This is unrestricted requirements and all interested large/small business concerns in Southeast and Gulf coast can submit proposal for consideration. Interested offerors must possess a current Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA). Solicitation for the requirements will be posted on MSC procurement website and on FEDBIZOPPs website. The following are some of the work requirements: Freeboard Preservation, Super structural Preservation, Ballast Tank Preservation, Ballast Tank Repairs, Thruster Seal Replacement, 150KW MG Sets Replacement, TLI Repairs, Incinerator installation, MSD Installation, Refrigeration Plant Repairs etc.
