Description: NA The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to negotiate with Integreated Medical Systems, Inc., Signal Hill, CA on a sole source basis for the purchase of Life Support for Trauma and Transport (LSTAT) system. The LSTAT is a portable, sing le patient, trauma and evacuation support platform that combines advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies to create a self-contained critical care life support system. The unit must have complete air worthiness testing and certification for use on U.S. Army Aeromedical evacuation platforms and be fully approved by the FDA for use in all medical treatment facilities. The period of performance is anticipated to be one base year with four one-year options. Intend to procure nine LSTAT systems during th e base year and thirty-one systems during the subsequent option years. This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satis fy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
