Description

Subject: Microwave equipment, installation and parts. SOLNBR:5TC1502134 RESPDATE:July 12, 2002 Contact: POC Irma Sauseda (312)886-3825 Desc: GSA/FTS, Region 5 is announcing its intent to issue a procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302.3 for a sole source acquisition to Yankee Microwave Incorporation, 290 Naples Road, Harrison, Maine 04040. Products and services required for work to be accomplished are for: design, implmentation and maintenance of wireless networks installation and parts for upgrade of surveillance equipment that is already deployed and is in use at the Border Patrol field offices. Required parts are available from Yankee Microwave Corporation who is one of several vendors that accomplish and provide the microwave equipment. This requirement is identified by reference number 5TC1502134. NAICS Code: 33422010 Communication Systems and broadcast and Studio Equipment applies. Size standard is 12 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals by the designated response date. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future, if another requirement arises. Responses are due no later than July 12, 2002, 3:30 p.m. Central Standard Time, to GSA/FTS (Region 5), Attention: Irma Sauseda, 230 S. Dearborn Street, Room 3380, Chicago, Illinois 60604.
