Description

This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about July 23, 2002. The work of this contract consists of all labor, supplies, tools, equipment, and materials to selectively thin aerial fuels. Trees that have been cut will be stacked into small piles or lopped and scattered as appropriate. The Contractor will have no entitlement under this contract to any trees cut in the project area. All work will be performed under a single contract. Work must be completed within ninety (90) days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. A pre-bid Site Visit will be conducted on Wednesday, August 7th at 10:00 A.M. Meet at El Malpais National Monument Headquarters building located at 123 E. Roosevelt in Grants, N.M. All bidders are encouraged to attend. There is no set-aside for this solicitation. The estimated price range is between $75,000 and $150,000. This will be an Invitation For Bid (IFB). Accordingly, only sealed bids will be accepted for this solicitation (no faxed or electronic quote document will be accepted). Quotes must be received at El Malpais National Monument, 123 E. Roosevelt Ave., Grants, NM 87020 by 2:00 P.M. on August 23, 2002 local prevailing time, where a public bid opening will take place. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price related factors included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that all elements of this solicitation will be obtainable at the above listed website.
