Description
NA Provide concrete to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, Louisville, Kentucky, in support of WES Test Site, Fort Knox (Bullitt County), Kentucky. Concrete shall have 5,500 PSI compression at 28 days. Mix design will incorporate two options of aggregate size, #57 and #9, KYDOT. Mix design will facilitate range from 4” to 6” slump plus without affecting strength. Mix will arrive on-site with designated slump plus or minus 1”. Concrete to be delivered to WES Test Site, Bullitt County, Fort Knox, KY. Maximum drum rotation of 220. Concrete must be deposited into forms within 90 minutes after water is introduced into the mix. Concrete must be delivered on location approximately forty (40) minutes after batching. Concrete temperature shall not exceed 90 degrees F upon delivery. Concrete will be delivered with a minimum of two (2) working days notice to batch plant. Placement of concrete will range from 4CY to 500CY with a maximum spacing of 15 minutes between trucks if desired by the Government. This R equest for Quote (RFQ) contains an option clause to extend the contract for a one-year period. Period of performance will be: Base Year – 01 Sep 2002 thru 31 August 2003. Option Year – 01 Sep 2003 thru 31 August 2004. Pricing for the Base Year will also apply to the Option Year.
