- NA Red River Army Depot intends to issue a solicitation resulting in a requirements contract for up to 150,000 pounds of Strip Stock Injection Rubber, NSN 264000X020235, in support of its M88 Roadwheel rebuild program. Strip size is 2 ¾” x 15/32”. MIL DTL 3100H applies. Contract period will be 12 months. Red River Army Depot owns the compound formulation and desires to restrict its disclosure to the extent possible. The formulation will be provided by the Contracting Officer after receipt of a signed n ondisclosure statement. Nondisclosure statements may be obtained by emailing the contracting officer listed below. Samples for first article testing (FAT) are required for firms who have not previously provided this product to this Depot. Firms who have p reviously provided this product to Red River Army Depot may request, in writing, to have the requirement for FAT waived. Requests for waivers of FAT shall be requested from the Contracting Officer. Waivers are not automatic and may or may not be granted. Four hundred (400) pounds of the rubber produced from the proper formula in the proper strip size must be provided at or before the date set for receipt of proposals for FAT. MSDS are required to be submitted for all ingredients used. MSDS are to be subm itted with the proposal. Firms interested in receiving this solicitation may download it from our website at https://www.redriver.army.mil/contract.htm. The solicitation will be available on the issue date of 24 July 2002.
