- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items” and Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented w ith additional information included in this notice. This CSS is being issued as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with FAR provision 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5065 and The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 421690 with a size standard of 100 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07 effective 15 May 2002 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 Edition, current to DCN 20020 531. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government VISA Credit Card. The contractor’s quote shall consist of nine (9) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) as follows: CLIN 0001 - Quantity 1, Unit of Issue – Each, Description – Winradios WD3000/ 40 W/Mobile Antenna 150 KHZ to 4 GHZ, continuous tuning required; CLIN 0002 - Quantity 5, Unit of Issue – Each, Description – AOR SA700, Superwide Receiving Antenna; CLIN 0003 – Quantity 5, Unit of Issue – Each, Description – AOR DA3000 Wideband Discone An tenna; CLIN 0004 – Quantity 5, Unit of Issue – Each, Description – Winradios Client Server Option 31007, ACC14-B Card; CLIN 0005 – Quantity 5, Unit of Issue – Each, Description – Winradios Decoder 1 Card; CLIN 0006 – Quantity 5, Unit of Issue – Each, Descr iption – Winradios SFT 23 Trunking Option; CLIN 0007 – Quantity 5, Unit of Issue – Each, Description – SFT 15 Digital Suite; CLIN 0008 – Quantity 5, Unit of Issue – Each, Description – WR-3700i-DSP Receiver; CLIN 0009 – Quantity 5, Unit of Issue – Each, De scription – Winradios SFT 16 Database Manager Software. All quotes shall be clearly marked with Solicitation Number DATM07-02-T-0027 and emailed to Linda.Renteria@yuma.army.mil no later than 3:00 PM MST, July 22, 2002. Offers that fail to furnish required representations required by FAR 52.212-1 cited below or re ject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical acceptability and price. The following FAR Clauses and Provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors—Commercial Items (Oct 2000).
