Description: The Contractor shall furnish the services of transporting Government-owned overweight/oversize freight by the Contractor's truck-tractors and lowbed semitrainlers (16, 20, 26, 30, 36, and 40 ton loading capacity) in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the solicitation and applicable Japanese Government laws and trade practices. The area of performance shall be throughout Honshu, Kyushu and Hokkaido. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (08-JUL-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 09-JUL-2002.
