- Description
- UNICOR, FPI intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price Definite Quantity/Definite Delivery type contract for equipment that shall result in a one-time delivery. Delivery, inspection, and acceptance will be FOB Destination FCC Beaumont - USP, Beaumont, TX. Delivery shall be 90 days after award. THIS A BRAND NAME OR EQUAL REQUIREMENT. This requirement will result in a multiple award. The line items are as follows: LINE ITEM 0001 - QTY: 3 EA - Three Needle Chainstitch, Waistband Machine, 1/4" Gauge between outside needle and second needle and 1 1/4" gauge between second needle and inside needle, 10-14 stitches per inch, maximum 5,000 SPM, complete with operator Eye Guard, 220 volt, 3 phase motor, table and lamp, 15 feet lead wire. MODEL: UNION SPECIAL KA-16. LINE ITEM 0002 - QTY: 2 EA - Eyelet Machine, Chainstitch, Computer controlled cycle machine, steel punch table, rubber clamp, sewing size 3/16 to 1/4 inch, 19 to 24 stitches per inch, maximum 2,000 SPM, lift or feeding frame maximum 18mm, complete with operator eye guard, 220 volt, 3 phase motor, fifteen feet lead wire. MODEL: JUKI LK-1900 ES OR EQUAL. LINE ITEM 0003 - QTY: 2 EA - Double Needle Chainstitch, medium to heavy weight, feed-off-the-arm, with puller, 10 to 14 stitches per inch, maximum 4,000 SPM, complete with operator eye guard, 220 volt, 3 phase motor, table and lamp, fifteen feet lead wire. MODEL: JUKI MS-1260 OR EQUAL. LINE ITEM 0004 - QTY: 3 EA - Double Needle Lockstitch, 1/4" gauge, automatic thread trimmer, needle feed machine with organized split needle bar, large bobbins, automatic foot lift, maximum 3,000 SPM, complete with operator eye gauge, 220 volt, 3 phase motor, table and light, 15 feet lead wire. MODEL: BROTHER LT2-B845-404 OR EQUAL. LINE ITEM 0005 - QTY: 1 EA - Automatic Lockstitch Welting Machine with flap setter, 10 to 14 stitches per inch, with single and double welt sewing, automatic thread trimmer, programmable bobbin stitch counter, adjustment to fabric thickness, loading and folding station with creasing set for cut pocket, transfer device, CNC with memory for up to 5 patterns, ejectors and stackers, vacuum unit for 450mm width, 220 volt, 3 phase motor, 15 feet lead wire. MODEL JUKI LH-570 OR EQUAL. LINE ITEM 0006 - QTY: 3 EA - Single Needle Chainstitch (Keyhole) Buttonhole, Gimp fed, 9/16" - 11/16" buttonhole, automatic thread trimmer, 52 to 56 stitches including tack, maximum 4,000 SPM, complete with operator eye guard, 220 volt, 3 phase motor, table and light, 15 feet lead wire. MODEL: JUKI MEB-3200 OR EQUAL. LINE ITEM 0007 - QTY: 4 EA - Single Needle Lockstitch Bartacker, 24 to 28 stitches per inch to 5/8", 230 SPM, complete with operator eye guard, 220 volt, 3 phase motor, table and lamp, 15 feet lead wire. MODEL: JUKI LK-1902 OR EQUAL. Delivery is FOB Destination: FCC-USP Beaumont, Texas. Delivery Acceptance is 45 days after receipt of delivery order. This requirement will result in a multiple award. THIS IS A BRAND NAME OR EQUAL REQUIREMENT. The award will be based on the best value to the Government. The evaluation factors are: past performance, ability to conform to specifications, and price. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation that is due to be issued on or about July 17, 2002. All interested parties shall retrieve a complete copy of the solicitation from the Federal Business Opportunities website at: www.eps.gov. No telephone or mailed requests will be honored. All questions/inquiries shall be put in writing and addressed to the Contracting Officer indicated in this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered.
