Description

The U.S. EPA intends to negotiate on a Sole Source basis, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Mid-Atlantic Research Institute. The contractor shall provide a Real Time Particulate Mass Monitor Model RPM 101 w/Sample Conditioning System, Model 110, Fast 4-Valve Flow Control and Pumpsys, GPS and CAM converter. The contractor will also upgrade EPA's current Model RPM 100 to include items in Model RPM 101. The upgrade includes a 4-valve pump package for proportional sample flow control, Power Convertor, 115 v ac to 12 v dc, CAM converter, GPS, and Memory Upgrade. These units will provide continuous diesel exhaust Particulate Matter (PM) measurements for the current EPA SPOT and will be used for PM measurements for Spark Ignition (SI) and Combustion Ignition (CI) engine vehicles equipped with after-treatment devices.
