- Description
- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with GSE System. During the base period of one year, the contractor will be required to provide software update service for GSE's SimSuite Power software package, which includes the Graphic Editor GEMDRAW, the BOP thermohydraulics model development tool TOPMERET, the electrical distribution and generation tool ELEGANT, the control and logic tool CLASC, and the Simulation Support System US3. This update service shall include improvements and enhancements made to the software and revisions to the associated documentation, and phone support. During the four one-year option periods, the contractor will be required to provide yearly software subscription service, which shall include improvements, enhancements made to SimSuite Power software, revisions to the associated documentation, and phone support. SimSuite Power software updates must be capable of running under the Windows NT operating system. The Government intends to negotiate solely with GSE Systems, 9189 Red Branch Road, Columbia, MD 21045. SimSuite Power Software is proprietary to GSE and is not available from any other source. GSE is the sole supplier of modeling tools that are compatible with GSE's US3 model execution environment and the sole supplier of the associated software update service. Interested respondents must submit a written capability statement, including technical information, sufficient to demonstrate a bonafide capability to meet these requirements to the address shown above not later than 10 calendar days from the date the announcement appears in the Federal Business Opportunities.
